I swear if I see anymore "shaking hands" images I'll loose it. When the previous business I worked for started using stock photos the bounce rate increased significantly on those pages. I'm still in favor of jQuery, but some designers feel compelled to come up with crazy navigation elements because of the flexibility it offers.
